Senior Systems Engineer.

 I was responsible for the design, programming, testing and commissioning of approximately 7 PLC based control systems, utilising Allen Bradley, IMO SoftPLC, Texas PLC's with Siemens Profibus and ASI I/O and Mitsubishi PLC's.

 I continued to review FDS's and provide the Drawing Office with both motor and PLC Kit and I/O details. I wrote most of the PLC control programs and designed the HMI layouts wherever possible. I was also responsible for panel testing and regularly travelled to site to commission the panels. (Philippines and UK.)

 On larger projects I provided direction and advice to 4 or 5 System Engineers and as the most senior engineer I was effectively acting Principal Engineer.

 In Sept '98 GBE Tobacco went into receivership and I was offered continuity of employment with Dickinson Control Systems Ltd., Winchester.
